The past hours witnessed the issuance of a ruling by the Sports Court in Lausanne to support the decision of the International Football Association (FIFA) FIFA to fine Mahmoud Abdel Moneim Kahraba, the former player of Zamalek, $ 2 million, in addition to the interest on the amount of 5%.
On the other hand, the court did not fine Al-Ahly or the Portuguese Avis, to whom the player moved after the departure from Zamalek.
The player has the right to appeal the ruling within 30 days from the issuance of the ruling by the Sports Court.
And the International Football Association “FIFA” decided in August 2020 to fine Kahraba in solidarity from the Portuguese club Deportivo Aves two million dollars, without stopping the player, confirming the integrity of Al-Ahly’s position by contracting with him at that time.
Kahraba left Zamalek in 2019 claiming that his contract with the team had expired, so the white team officials took measures to sue the player because his contract is still ongoing with the team.
