Mortada Mansour, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Zamalek Club, confirmed that the ruling of the Sports Court “Cas” issued today, Tuesday, fining Mahmoud Abdel Moneim “Kahraba”, Al-Ahly player loaned to Hatay Sport 2 million dollars, is a “victory for the club.”
The Sports Court in Lausanne, Switzerland, issued a final, non-appealable ruling, fining Kahraba a sum of $2 million, in addition to 5% interest on the amount, starting from June 20, 2019 until the date of the full payment of the fine.
The International Football Association “FIFA” had fined the player in August 2020 in solidarity with the Portuguese club Deportivo Aves, two million dollars, and FIFA decided not to suspend the player.
And Mortada wrote through his official account on the social networking site: “This is a new victory for the Zamalek club and its board of directors headed by Counselor Mortada Mansour, who always preserves and defends the club’s rights with full force.”
“This ruling is also a victory for true values and principles,” he added.
He continued, “This is not the first case that Zamalek has relieved under the chairmanship of Counselor Mortada Mansour in the Sports Court, where a ruling was previously passed in his favour in the case of the player Hamdi Al-Naqaz, as well as Marouf Youssef and Gross.”
And he concluded: “By God’s command, the board of directors will complete its sports and construction revolution to make millions of its fans and members of its general assembly happy.”
