Van Dyck discovers Egypt’s loss on the air… and comments on Salah’s exit

After the Dutch national team met its German counterpart, in a friendly match in Amsterdam, on Tuesday evening, a journalist told the captain of the Dutch national team Virgil Van Dyckthat his teammate in Liverpool, Mohamed Salah, had bid farewell to the World Cup by losing to Senegal.

As for Sadio (Mane), I wish him all the best. Good luck, and if he is in our group (in the World Cup), he will need that success.”

It is noteworthy that Van Dijk and the Netherlands national team reached the 2022 World Cup early, after topping their group in the European qualifiers.
