Mortada Mansour, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Zamalek Club, sent a message to the players of the White Castle club, after what the Cuban Youssefani Hernandez, the volleyball player in the White Club, did.
Mortada Mansour said in a video statement on his YouTube channel: “Youssefani, the volleyball player, had a crisis in the arrival of his international card, as 6,000 Swiss francs had to be paid, and there were 3 hours left for the match, and the Cuban player paid the amount. From his personal account, even though he did not get any money from the Zamalek club, and the problem was resolved.”
The president of Zamalek stressed: “Have you seen, players of the football team, what he did? The player is an example for all players in all sports, not just football.”
Mortada concluded his statements: “Youssefani set an example of respect and professionalism. Does professionalism mean that you collect money? I don’t think that anyone did what he did in the history of Egypt for all athletes, and this model is emulated.”
It is worth noting that Yousefani led the Zamalek volleyball team to victory over its rivals Al-Ahly 3-2 in the first match of the league semi-final, which was held between them at the New Administrative Capital Hall.
